Equine Chiropractic Care
Equine chiropractic care can be an essential piece to your horses performance and longevity. Dr. Sydney is a mobile equine chiropractor. A chiropractic visit includes intake/consent forms, a detailed history, gait assessment, physical examination and treatment as indicated. Captured videos of your horse while working are highly encouraged. Horses of all disciplines, including retirees, can benefit from manual care to keep them moving to the best of their abilities. Treatment can include chiropractic manipulation and mobilization, therapeutic kinesiology taping, low level laser therapy (LLLT), and exercise prescription.
What to Expect
A gait analysis will be performed either on a lunge line or halter lead. Horses should be clean from debris for best physical assessment. The physical exam includes evaluation of conformation, soft tissue tone and joint mobility. Equine treatments can include chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work and exercise prescription.
